The Amicalola is a beautiful river and well worth
floating, even if for those that don't fish. It
is stocked every other week at three locations.
Highway 53, Devil's elbow and Lindsay's ford. I
think it has redeye bass, and redbreast in addition
to trout. It is a great river for canoes, but
could be fished from a float tube. There are a few
class II rapids, that make the river a little more
interesting.
Good Luck
