Missed you in the chat room but if you are still
interested in a place to camp, try the chestatee W.M.A.
go thru dahlonega on 19 to the W.M.A. turn left at the
sign follow this road untill it turns to dirt you will
see the W.M.A. sign keep going untill you cross a small
creek, good camping on the right on both sides of small
creek or go on up untill you come to another small
creek with a cement culvert good camping on the right
(my favorite spot) of just past this on the left is a
good spot. The larger creek flowing thru this area is
D_icks creek. Where you first enter the W.M.A. is
the headwaters of the chestatee river.
