I've got a couple of fishable rods, an old Orvis that's not worth as much as one would think, and a Horricks and Ibbotson that has hardly any collector value, but is an *outstanding* rod in all respects. Casts better than most more expensive rods.

I've got one REALLY old rod, probably 100 years old, made of Calcutta cane. (Tonkin wasn't availible until the late 20S or early 30s.) It needs to be refinished, but it's practicaly worthless as a collector rod. Probably a Thomas Chubb rod, not marked.
