Its slippery as all get out up there. a lot of agal slime on the rocks...very clear and COLD though....suggest a wading staff or float tube...get on down below the crowds that gather just below the dam for better fishing..the furhter you go downstream the better..check the generating schedule....don't get caught in the water when they crank up! Also a vest is required down to hiway 20 bridge.

Georgia fishing (South of Habersham County) and I'm eager to get ahold of some of them trout. Buford is closer to me than Jones Br. or Island Ford, so that looks like it for me.
