Hello!
From reading the board I am clearly outnumbered
by fly fisherman. One of you anglers have to have
an older fly fishing outfit in your garage collecting
dust..Your first rod or one that you upgraded from..I
have been contemplating this for a while but the prospect of spending massive amounts of money is not
appealing..I don't know if I have the coordination to
put the fly where I want it...Most of the streams up
here are only about 5 feet wide..There are some exceptions..Most of the streams are lined with willows
or weeds...I think a shorter rod would be better than
a long one...I the back of the Field and Stream I see
where there are flies for sale for .95 cents a piece.
Is this a good price??The trout up here range from 5
inches to 28 inches**if you are extremely lucky**This
only small stream..tributaries of the great lakes is a
different story....I'm only looking for a small stream
rig....Please answer on the board if you have a fly
rod and reel you would want to part with????
