I've had good success with general attractor patterns when nothing is hatching (i.e Kauffman Stimulators in yellow and lime, Royal Humpies) The stimulators fished near the shore look like hoppers and are a good caddis fly imbitation when tied in the proper colors. They also float a nymph very well for a dropper rig. Caddis flies produce very well, with the CDC&Elk, Fluttering Caddis, and just the plain ole Elk Hair Caddis being good producers. I'd fish the caddis flies in sz 14-18, stimulators from sz 10-16, Humpies sz 12. Hope this helps,
Regards,
Doc
