Hound,

Take them to the Chattooga. It's a National Wild
and Scenic river (it's beautiful and undeveloped
away from the road crossings) with good fishing.
The section below Burell's Ford is stocked with
catcheable sized rainbows throughout the summer
months and fingerling browns are stocked in the fall.
You don't have to stick near the road access points to
catch the stockers since they are stocked by helicopter.
You'll have a beautiful setting, a sure trout dinner,
and a shot at some wild rainbows and holdover browns
to boot. The Chattooga is a great place for an ex-
tended stay also.

As for keeping your dry flies dry, you could seal
the whole box with wax. Changing flies could be
problematic however. You could try some of those
Stowaway tackle boxes in the smaller sizes. They
have a rubber gasket around the rim to keep out water.
Or, you could just dry things out once you get home
like everyone else.

Erik
