Hooker's advice is excellent...Other baits you can you use are Rapala Husky Jerks in the silver/blue and the burnt orange in size 8...They are for a little deeper water..Also Storm "A" bombers work in deeper water...For a little shallower water use size 4 or 6 Panther Martins...The bronze and silver are the two best kinds.....Don't buy the Thunder bugs...You need to reel them too fast to keep the blade rotating and they don't flash well enough.
