Go about 2 miles down Barnwell and you will see the sign for the Jones Bridge park enterance on the right. There will be a boat ramp area on the right...go past it and another 1/4 mile you will come to the parking area. There is a short trail next to the pay box that will take you to the river...At this point you are at the half way point of the wadding area...there is about a 1/2 mile or so streach of the river that is wadable.

There are some good areas to fish, but they are hit and miss and hard to pinpoint in writting. The Wooly Bugger ( Beadhead ) is very effective there and so is the GRHE as a dropper too. Caddis and stimulators work well also.

If you use a stimulator, try bright orange. Caught eight fish Sunday on GRHE. But I had four fish hit my BioStrike indicator. Good stuff once you get used to putting it on. Thought about molding the stuff around a hook.

Now does anyone have any hints on how to get down to the deep faster water on the east side just south of the island? Saw a guy catch a bunch throwing a big silver spoon.
