9/8 - Minor update today....added a new photo sent in by Kevin, nice 22''
brown. Got a lot in the works for this month including getting the new board
online, hopefully by next weekend. Also...Chris Scalley was kind enough
to leave me an interesting message with some of the results of a study
he has been working on regarding the 'Hooch. Apparently they have
been doing shock surveys and found some interesting things like Sculpins in
signifigant numbers, crayfish, and a good population of fingerlings - good sign
that natural reproduction is occuring. Also the numbers proved that fishing
pressure does have a lot to do with the size of fish as larger fish were found
in more remote areas thus proving that Catch and Release is key in keeping
the Chattahoochee a quality fishery. Hopefully I can get more details from
Chris and have requested any photos, if available.
