Take GA 52 west from Dahlonega. After the highway 9 intersection, you'll go down a hill (nice pond on rt.) and past an ostrich farm on the left. About a mile later
you'll see a sign for the Blue Ridge WMA - take a right (I think it's called Nimblewill rd.) Just before the road turns to gravel, you'll see a sign for FS rd. 28-1 -
take that right (on 28-1) and then bear left on FS rd 77. You'll see the turn off for Jones Creek.
If you're interested in exploring the north GA streams, I recommend you get a map of the Chattahochee National forest - available from the forest service as well as map
stores in the Atlanta area - it's a great map with all FS rds, campgrounds, etc.
