I tried using a strike indicator, this did not seem to help. Seemed to make casting a bit more difficult!! How far up from the fly do you put the indicator? Is it best to use some type of indicator? I have read alot of post that suggest using a dry fly as an indicator?

I wish I was able to catch more fish on dry flys but I still catch about 80-90% on a nymph. I've heard fish feed 90% subsurface. Plus GA doesn't seem to have too many hatches. Do a search (NGTO Message Board Article Search) on the word "dropper" and you should find plenty of past messages on this board. Right now I like to use a sz 14 yellow or orange stimulator. Easy to see and the fish like it too.
