For those who may not know them.... Jimmy Jacobs is Editor of "Georgia Sportsman", "Florida Game & Fish",
and "Alabama Game & Fish". He is the author of four books, "Trout
Fishing in North Georgia", "Trout Streams of Southern Appalachia",
Tailwater Trout In the South", and "Bass Fishing in Georgia". An Avid
Angler with special interest in flyfishing, Jimmy is also a lecturer and
storyteller. Don Pfitzer is widely recognized as an authority on fisheries,
wildflowers and plants, entomology, and hiking trails. Retired as
Assistant Regional Director for Public Affairs of the U. S. Fish and
Wildlife Service, he is now a freelance writer, lecturer, and nature
photographer. His book, "Hiking Georgia", is considered the most
complete listing of hiking trails throughout the state of Georgia. His
second book, "Scenic Driving Georgia", written with LeRoy Powell, is a
compilation of 29 suggested trips covering all parts of the state. LeRoy Powell is co-host of the Georgia Outdoors program on Georgia
Public Television. A television veteran with credits on WAGA, Atlanta,
A & E, ESPN, ESPN2, and Speedvision, LeRoy is author of "Out of My
Head" and co-author of Scenic Driving Georgia. He is also a public
speaker and magazine writer.
