It's fall in the mountains and ants are all around the streams and the yellow jackets,bees
and hornets are drinking from their perches on the mid-stream rocks.Now is the time to use
those patterns(I like the MacMurray flies)They are really easy to make if you are in to fly
tying.Also if you are fishing down stream and fishing a dry.Try this --cast a loose line let
fly drift down when it begins to drag-lift the rod gently and skitter the fly.What patterns-
the Dorato,the Adams with the hackle cut even with barb(Almost a dorato),and most parachutes
especially if tied on turn up eyed hook.Hope this helps someone.
