Help newbies headed to Helen

Hi,
I'm new to trout fishing, and would like to hear from anyone
with some advice on where to go. A friend and I are planning
a trip up to the Helen area in about 2 weeks, we'll probably
be leaving around Monday the 22nd to spend a coupla days fishing.
We live in Middle Ga. and are looking to go anywhere around the
Helen area. I need some recommendations on good streams or lakes
for beginners. Neither of us are planning to fly fish.
We are also planning on camping. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated and I'll be sure to post the results here when we return.
