Glad you had a great time. I had a decent day up there myself. I will tell ya though, wait til end of Oct/start of november. The water will have
cooled down by then and the big'ins will start feeding a little more aggressivly. Also during this time of year, check out section 2.
Some of the bigger browns will move up into this area towards some of
the little feeder streams that join into Dukes. They are very spooky at that time but they are there and if you can
stalk them you can catch them.
Also, when they go back to just 15 slots per day total, that is another great time. Less pressure for both the fisherman'
and the fish, and the water will hopefully be up a little bit more by then.
Dukes is the lowest I have seen it, and trying to land big fish on 7x-8x tippet can try your patience at times.
