Mark, Spawning activity has concentrated the Browns in shoal areas while they took care of business. The activity is starting to taper off, but good catches are still possible. Low clear water and cloud cover is essential to make this program work. The release at Buford has been variable, so call 770 945 1466 before you go. Drift fishing with Rapalas is the best way to catch these fish in the winter, but watch for hatches of BWO's late in the evening and on overcast days. The trout in this section of the river are not really too fussy about patterns. If it looks like a fly, floats like a fly, they'll give it the taste test if they are on a feed. Good luck!
