used a stimulator and then an irresistable as the detector.
Last winter the Noontootla fished i think good. The fish were piled up in the deeper holes,
and did a lot of wolly bugger fishing. But then if you can catch a warm front moving in, then
you may run into some decent fishing activity.
I also noticed last winter, that the lower sections fished the best. Especially when you come in from the parking
area next to the sign welcoming you into the wildlife area. That area and the area where the appalachian trail cuts
thru(that little stream also can hold some suprisingly nice trout! they are spooky as all get out but they are in there)
