I am new to TU and I hope message "scares" a few more of us into action. Mark, A few years ago, several homeowner associations tried to block a huge commercial development in E. Cobb (Sandy Plains at Shallowford). It became very apparent that we would not and could not stop the project for one simple reason. $$$$ I hate to be a pessimist, but when you combine $$$ and politics (i.e. zoning), you've created the proverbial unstoppable force. I feel the same way you do everytime I cross I-20 over the Hootch. The corn fields along the river, across from what is now Six Flags, provided great dove shooting when I was in high school. Now, the only shooting that goes on on that side of the river are from the bad drug deals!
