Rob -- This website is probably the best source of information you'll
find regarding trout fishing in Georgia. Just go to the map section,
find Gainesville and click on the trout symbols nearby. Gainesville
is very close to many of Georgia's best trout streams and the information
is all here. Once you've decided what area you're interested in, there
are people here who can provide you with specifics. In fact, there are
several good reports on the message board now about Chattahoochee below
Lake Lanier. I'm new to trout fishing in North Georgia, but I can tell
you I'm hooked--especially on the Chattahoochee north of Helen which is
not too far from Gainesville. Good Luck!
