There are hundreds of maps of various kind available over
the net from US Geological Survey and other government offices.
Many of the available topo maps cover the trout waters of
North Georgia. The problem is, you need GIS mapping software
to load, read and print them. I have friends who use
high-end (read high dollar) GIS programs for State business.
I understand that there are shareware or low-end programs available,
but cannot seem to locate a source for them. Anyone
know of a source for cheap GIS software?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...
