: Hi - I'm a college student, and I'm currently doing a project about the Appalachian fly-tying tradition. I would be interested in talking with anyone with knowledge of how fly-fishing has traditionally been done in the Appalachians, especially concerning those flies which are considered classic Appalachian flies. I welcome any information. I would, however, prefer talking face-to-face with anyone who's interested. Feel free to send me an e-mail message or else give me a call at (910)759-1821. Thanks, Ben Smith

I don't know too much about traditional Applachin
fly-fishing, but I do know of some people. I
cannot recall there names, but they run a
mail order fly fishing store out of Cumming, Ga.
The name of the store is Eggers. I do not have
the phone number on hand, but I can get it for
you. The store specializes in traditional and
contemporary Applaching fly fishing.
