: This time of year, which is better Conasauga or Jacks?
This time of year I would go to the Conasauga-You
can relie on it being clear.Often this time of year
if someone pees in the Jacks it gets muddy. On the
Conasauga try to go in at the path down to the river
at Paint Bank Gap this water(esp.down stream)holds
some good fish.I had a very nice trout rise to a dry
the 1st week of April several years ago. This area
gets little traffic. Also on your way in or out try
Mill Creek on the lower end I've caught Bows on one
cast and Redeyes on the next.Last year, the week after
opening day I caught a 23" Bow on a Wooley Bugger in
Coopers Ck and had a huge Brown come up to look at a
Dorato dry and opened his mouth then turned away.
The point of this is it doesn't get to cold anywhere!
in Ga.for trout not to take flies.
