In fact, you can have a chance of fooling some bigger fish because of the dingy water -- they can't see you and spook as easy as when the creek is running clear. I got a couple of my nicest fish so far this year under similar conditions on a brown bead-head stonefly nymph.I sure wouldn't let a little murky water knock me out of fishing -- the only time I hike is to get to a better place to fish.
