: Can someone give me a brief 'book review' on the book by Jimmy Jacobs ? Is it helpful ? I am interested in buying a book/map that has detailed information on North Ga. streams plus those in SW. North Carolina/Eastern TN. How about a map of these trout streams ? ( I have the trout stream map for GA).
: thanks.
Jacob's book is excellent and I highly recommend it. Jimmy has done his homework and has compiled a wealth of information for trout fisherman. I'm not surprised that Jimmy was able to produce such an authoritative work. He has prowled the little known shoals of Proctor Creek for the wily Grove Park salmon since his teen years. As a result, he was more than prepared for the comparatively unchallenging N. Ga. hills. If there are other members of the "Secret Order of the Blue Owl" on-line out there, I'm sure they would confirm the challenge of Proctor Creek.
