: I have seen on a streams locator map that there are a couple of stocked streams in the Dallas area. Any access information would be appreciated. I am new to fly fishing and am looking for a place to get my feet wet ( so to speak) other than the Hooch in the Northwest Atlanta area. Looking forward to hear from all of the experienced anglers out there and thanks in advance

You may want to try Pumpkinvine at the GA 120 bridge. Access is no problem as there is a power line right-of-way at this location. Flies can work, but a high resident population of small warm water species makes it real interesting. Good luck.
