Thanks all, for your contribution to what I can see is going to be a great time. I drove over to Bass Warehouse on Friday, and using my grocery list, as well as the remarks I received here, I put together a pretty darn good setup.

I have every thing that I need for the forseeable future, at a cost of 135.00. The most noteworthy is the vise. I had my eye on that $70.00 rotating vise, then asked the clerk how much the vise that they where using to demo a flytying bench was. He scanned it at, $17.00 SOLD. It clamps on, has a no glare finish, is good quality, and rotates.

I found that my memory was better than I thought. Like I said in my first post, I used to tie 15 years ago. I tied my first wooly bugger perfectly. GR hairs ear, no problem. I've tied 1/2 dozen of various types since. I will admit though, it took me about 45 minutes to remember how a whip finisher worked! I was pretty close to throwing a couple of half hitches on there, some cement and just forgetting about it.
