Spent Saturday and Sunday in Cohutta WMA. Fished Mills
Creek on Saturday and caught a lot stocked Rainbows. Its a
different experience to fish in a smaller creek that is
stocked with so many fish, atleast in the area we tried.
It wasn't challenging by any
means but it was a good experience for couple of the guys
that have never trout fished.

We hiked 2 miles(seemed like 20 with all of the stuff
we had)to Conasauga River on Saturday and camped next
to the river. This is a beautiful area to camp, hike,
or fish and hardly no one is around. Anyway, we fished
most of Sunday and caught and released 5 wild rainbow and
saw a bunch more. These trout are so different from
the stockies. They were so much stronger. I thought the
first one I caught was at least a pound. It turned out
to be about 9 inched. Also, they are so vivid and perfectly
shaped I was very surprised.

Overall it was a great experience and those wild
trout are something to see.
