This trail is also know as the Bear Camp Ck.trail.It will
take to the Jacks quite abit above the falls where most of
the people traffic. If you will hike downstream of where
B.C.Ck.trail meets river for a couple of miles and several
crossings you come to the Jacks R.gorge(It will be obvious
because will be a couple hundred feet above river. If you choose
to fish the gorge go to end where trail comes back to river
and remember if you start in you pretty much are committed to
go through. Not many folks opt for this but the fishing makes it
worth it.The Grasshoppers should be out and they are dark in color
and not to big about a size10-8.Also try whooley buggers, nymphs
and drys that are easy to see(that will be self evident when you
see the water).Another aproach is to take East Cowpen tr.for app.
1/2 mile to Rough Ridge tr.to the right then app2 miles to Sugar
Cove tr.on right then app 2 1/2 miles to river.you will be near
gorge area.Good luck hopes this helps.grw
