Any expereince with overwhelming crowds on past July 4th's or can you expect the 'normal crowds' ? Searching for some " non-competitive" trout waters - any suggestions ? thanks.

I went to the Hatchery on Sun morning and supprisingly was alone. There were four or five right behind the Hatchery but at the end of the road there was no one around. The water was low and clear and not much action. I caught a stocker right when I got there and then nothing.
