TC,
You've come to the right place regarding trout fishing. Just ask the folks here if you have questions. The answers might not be right, but hey, they're free http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif

I too live south of Atlanta. Do you fish the Flint River around Thomaston???

Would you be interested in a trip swap? You show me some ins and outs of "Shoal Bass" fishing on the Flint, and I'll take you trout fishing.

i have just started to fish the flint river, most of the river property in upson county is privately owned and hard to get in on. most of the time i fish from the shore or in the summer i wade out by sprewell bluff state park. i am just starting to get into this wading things most of the time i have to try to get other folks to let me borrow a boat. i am trying to get away from having to depend on other people with boats and thought i would try to find places where i could wade and get to myself. i live in thomaston, where are you from?
