Was thinking of hitting Island Ford tomorrow--depending on release schedule--anyone been in the last day or two--Is Suwannee Creek still making chocolate milk??

I took a look Tueday while getting my annual p****at Island Ford. Water still looks to have a green stain but it is not muddy. The water at Abbotts Bridge looked clearer today.

Rod,

I fished Abbott's Bridge Monday. The bottom was visible in 3 foot of water. The slight stain is partly caused by Suwanee Creek. You can see a definate "mud line" where it enters the mainstream.

I rode up to Buford Dam and saw about 4 or 5 fisherman wading toward Bowman's Island. The water was beautiful (as usual) there. If your going to fish Island Ford, better do it tommorrow as the storm's a'comin. There was a good bit of insect activity above Abbott's Bridge so I imagine there will be some activity tommorrow at The Ford. Let us know how it goes.
