Broke my 5 wt Sage Sunday morning when line wrapped around rod tip as I landed (or tryed to land) a 25 lb carp and he surged out of my hands, popping about 12" of the tip (report at http://www.mindspring.com/~kje/personal.htm)
Monday morning sent my rod to Sage (in Washington state) with a note requesting rush service as I have a trout trip planned next weekend. Friday I received my rod back via 3rd day priority with no charges whatsoever even tho I'd offered to pay for rush shipping. Even more phenomenal is the fact that my rod was purchased prior to Sage offering the unconditional guarantee.
So not only is the Sage a great rod, but their service is incredible.
