stream reports

here is an idea to kick around for the board. can we post a stream report and review it under general info and then have it saved under stream reports? i am not seeing many posts any more under stream reports ?

I agree that we need more posts. I mentined to Aaron that we could use a scheduled chat session with recent trips being the topic. However this new board would be a great place to start. If we all would post whenever we fish (and nobody can tell me that they have done it everytime) we will all benefit. Thanks------ALG

sure that I could figure out a clean way
to integrate the two...I will think about it.

About the chats....I really liked your idea and I want to schedule some. Perhaps we could even do it on a weekly basis, may Sunday nights weekly?

Here's one for you.
Because I hadn't fished in a couple weeks, I didn't let the off color of the 'hooch at Island Ford stall my hike to my favorite holes. I got there at about 2 and the water was still 6 in. high from the rain and release the night before. Fish were not rising--I took 8 or 10 on bead head woolies (all browns--6-12"). Around 5pm the water was down and visibility was up to 3'. The fish came on but would only take dries fished perfectly. My partner and I took 10-15 a piece in about 2 hours. Fun, technical fishing! We had to use dries (EHC mostly) in sizes 12-16. Our drifts had to be perfect and even though there was wind and the fish should have been chasing terrestrials and their imitations they wanted that drag free drift. FUN-FUN-FUN.
