Leaving about daylight on Wed morn for a few days of fishing, loafing and just messing about. Staying on Fightingtown Creek and plan to excersise some of the trout. Got tickets, my wife is really excited, on the Scenic RR train trip for Sat morn, so I hope that there is some color in the foliage.
Got an interesting new gadget for the trip this year. Just boughta new
notebook,installed the new Delorme Street Atlas 6.0 and have it interfaced with my Lowrance GlobalMap 100. Awesome combo!!!! Think I might stop by the store tomorrow and pick up the TOPO program from Delorme also. It interfaces the same and gives your location, etc as you are plundering along the backroads. Also will be great for ID'ing streams, etc.
Enough for now. Got to get my saltwater gear put away and fresh water gear ready. I will post when we get back and let you know how we did. Will try to get a chance to post while up there but cabin does not have a phone and don't know if I will even see a phone. Don't have a cellular modem either.
