I am getting things togather for another Fly fling. It will be in the evening again and at the Buford Hatchery. I have a couple of questions:

1. Is a week night OK?

2. What time should we start so everyone can make it?

The fly fling sounds like fun!

Just a few thoughts on weeknights, though.

For many with kids, school nights are pretty difficult. My wife is pretty accommodating, but a fishing event on a school night will likely draw cold stares.

For folks in choir etc. at church, Wednesdays are pretty much out.

For those who travel, weeknights are bad.

Of course, you can also say that weekends are bad. Weekend nights would be the least desirable, I'd say.

The Sunday-in-the-early-afternoon slot seems to work well...say, lunchtime till 2 or so. That avoids the church hour, is early enough to not interfere with bedtime for kids, and avoids Saturday athletic events and Saturday chores.

Well, you asked!

Enjoyed meeting you at the Jones Bridge get-together. Hope you're getting in some fishing!

Best of all, we could fish after the Fling!!

For those of us that live/work on the south side of Atlanta, the hatchery would be near impossible to reach on a weeknight because of traffic. You can't get there from here ;)

Regardless, I'll be there.

I'll be there, whenever it is.
