I did step over the line by refering to Eric as a little Richard--it seemed appropriate at the time and regretful at present. I agree that the poles (not polls) are what make the middle so fine. I appreciate the comments and indeed the sound reasoning by everyone on the board--and I look forward to seeing what heated topics may arise in the future.

I think I'm going to cry. Seriously though, I feel kind of bad about some of the things that I've said on this board, too. See my post below and in the Environmental Issues Forum.

P.S. The name calling didn't hurt any. Believe me, I've been called a lot worse.

Rod -- While I understand Aaron's motives for killing the thread, I still think your comment was perfectly appropriate though just a wee bit over the line.

As Erik says, he's been called much worse. I believe him!!! In fact, I'm beginning to think he likes being called names.

Anyway, probably the most terrible thing we could do to him is ignore him. But, I don't think many of us have the willpower to do that.

EDrik -- You're great and a great catalyst for the board!!! Say some more.
