Dukes creek

got a chance to fish dukes creek last wednesday and even though the water was low had a very good day. They were hitting a pattern that the guys at Unicoi Outfitters had told me about a Rainbow princes nymph. It is a funny looking pattern and you won't take it seriously but you really should it worked like crazy on wednesday. It is a beadhead pattern with white rubber band princes wings and a rinbow type mylar body dubbing. Fished it in a 14 size . I fished Dukes on Saturday. I got some nice hits on a Black Hopper. Then a really big Rainbow hit it and I ended up losing my hopper in a tree. That was the only Black Hopper I had. I was pretty much skunked the rest of the day.
Oh well.
