Hey Y'all,
As a few of you know, each year I host a fishing get-together known as the NorthEast Georgia (NEG) Clave for the FlyFish@ folks. This year, I've decided I would like to invite the NGTO folks as well.
Here's the skinny. In past years the clave has been held during August or September at Oconee State Park, just across the GA/SC state line and near the Chattooga River. This year I'm moving the clave to Unicoi State Park and it will be held June 25-27.
Some of you are asking; "What the heck is a clave?" Well, a 'clave' is simply a get-together of friends. We fish, eat, drink, tie flies, tell lies, and have a generally grand time. Want to bring the family - no problem! Bring 'em on - this is a family event.
I realize that this is very early notice but I wanted to give all of y'all an opportunity to get it on your calendars. Feel free to contact me at sdavenpo@lawco.com with any questions you might have. I'll post more details and reminders on the board closer to time. Hope y'all can make it.
