Athens Fly Fishing (located in Athens, GA) is closing! Everything in the store is marked way down. And I do mean everything--fishing related art work, custom built display cases, furniture, and all the usual fly tying and fly fishing equipment. The sale will end on March 28 with a Fishing Flea Market, where everyone can bring in their old gear to trade or sell with other participants. Call the shop for more details--(706) 369-1917.

I hope that people won't think I'm snubbing the NGTO sponsors (other fly shops) by posting this information. I thought that it would be of interest to them, too (art work, display cases, furniture, etc.). Let me also add that I'm not affiliated with this shop in any way other than the fact that I've spent too much money there and that I think the owner is a good guy.

Erik,

No justification is needed IMHO. Thanks for posting good info.

Owl,the flyshop is on Broad Street just past the Greasy V (the Varsity. go 'bout 1/4 mile past the Varsity and it's on your right. couple doors past Firehouse Package. But then, a good Baptist boy might not know about package stores. (hehe)

" Not oe is good, no not one" I know you were joking, but you prob. wouldn't reconi. me as a Baptist. I'm not your " ordinary" legalistic, Christian. ( ans I can see a liq. store just fine. Just wouldn't know what you could get there, specifically ! )
