THANKS EVERYONE! The Spring (Summer) Fling was our best and biggest yet! I appreciate all of y'all coming out! The food (desserts - hehe) you brought were awesome! Special thanks to the following who donated door prizes...Unicoi Outfitters (Nacoochee Bend Certificate and Whip finisher), The EG (Braves Tickets!), Hooker (Trip on the Jet - Owl and him should have a good time!), Drifter (Hand-tied B****flies), KB (sets of flies from the terrestrial swap), Flytyfish (2 full-day guided trips), David Edens (15% off discount), and Owl (Box of Night-Owl Specials - also thanks for the NGTO cake!!!!) I had a great time and regret only one thing( ok, besides falling in first thing http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif ) - I wish that we would have recon. all the nGTO people...folks taht have been there from the begginning and the folks that do all the work for us to enjoy. If it seems like NGTO is my life,.....as far as the web it pretty much is. I thought I was buying into an information superhghway....what I got was alot better....a Trout superhighway , and one with the best folks ever to don a flyvest !

The Fling was a great time! Thanks to everyone that made it happen. Extra special thanks goes out to ICHTHUS for the loaning of some waders for me and for all the fishing help. Also a special thanks to all of those that floated after the Fling. I had a great time and landed 3 fish. My first ever trout on a fly rod was on a dry caddis. What a time. If that doesn't get someone hooked then I don't know what would. Everyone was extra helpful, letting me know what type of fly to use, making sure my float tube was right, showing me how to tie knots, letting me borrow tippet material, and just plain showing me the way. The float was a bit long (read: Wife not very happy with the time I got home http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/frown.gif ) even when I free floated the rest of the way. Sorry I left you guys behind and didn't get to say thanks. But thanks now!
