View Full Version : Kids Fishing Day-Tallulah River
The Forest Service could use a few volunteers to help with their Kids Fishing Day on the Tallulah River, this Saturday, the 12th, about 9AM.

Bring your $2 to park ( unless they are waving the fee for helpers) as this area is now a USFS pay site, Briggs and I were digging under the truck seats for change! http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
Tom, missed you at the Fling.

Speaking of that $2 parking fee, I take it the $25 you pay for an annual Ga. state park p****does not satisfy the folks at either the Tallulah River or Chattahoochee. Is that right? Can you get an annual p****good at the USFS sites? How many different passes do you need to cover all the bases? Thanks/BeeDub
Same rules apply at Unicoi State Park. Your State Park p****is no good if you drive on up to Anna Ruby Falls, that's U. S. F. S. On the Tallulah, you have to pay the parking fee. But, the Kids Fishing Day was a big success with most of the kids catching trout. With over 2000 trout put in the 150 or so kids had a real shot at those pellet pigs and they cashed in. Might be a few holdovers for a few days.
