BassPro Kid's Event at CEWC

Just a last minute reminder. BassPro, NTWF and DNR are hosting a Kid's Fishing Rodeo at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center on Saturday June 26 (tomorrow!) They have rods and reels for kids. Event runs from 8a - 1p. FREE. Late registration can be accommodated at the event (although preregistration is desired call 770-931-1550,ask for "customer service"). Should be fun event. Food, prizes, goodies, archery, SNAKES!, birds-of-prey, etc...

Been busy OWL, real busy. Out of town to Las Vegas and Zion NP in Utah. Keep CEWC snake "myths" and stories alive, cuts down on visitation! http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif Seriously, you do need to be careful. Good advise to others in one of your posts on "packing heat" while on a WMA or PFA. Guns for hunting = GOOD, guns otherwise = BAD. Not as bad as going through the airport with one, but it can land someone in alot of trouble. And FYI the killing of NON-poisonous snakes is illegal.
Come by out here fishing sometime.
