FLY FLING - DATE CHANGED TO 8/29

Due to circumstances beyond our control...
The FLY FLING has been moved to August 29th, same time, same place.

2:30pm until? There will be a place to keep drinks cool and people are welcome to bring snacks. The Hot Wing Factory is just across the street too. No Beer!!!!!......Its a school. Thanks to flytyfish for setting this up.

I wrestled two more Braves tickets from marketing as a door prize for the fly fling. I can't offer a fly because I'm coming to learn. These are for the Cardinal's game the day after Labor Day (Sept. 7th). Watch Mark McGuire hit a couple more.

Please try and not postpone the fling again. It would be hard to wrestle more tickets from marketing. She's too tough.

285 to Roswell rd. go north 4-5 miles to Dalrymple rd turn right go 200 yds. North Springs High school is on your
left go across 1st speed breaker turn left follow parking lot around to north west corner of school you will see
the loading dock .Park in lower parking lot come up the steps to back of cafeteria . Also you can go to 400 north
and exit onto Abernathy rd go west till you run into Roswell rd turn right go 2 miles north to Dalrymple. Some
landmarks are Tom Jumper chevrolet Dalrymple is the next light after it

Well, the president of the company wanted the Sept. 7th tickets and it's a good career move to let him have them. He did give me the Sept. 8th (7:40PM)tickets instead. That's Wednesday and still the Cardinals. I mailed the tickets to Aaron today just in case marketing flexes her muscle again. Hopefully, they will make it the 30 miles to Marietta in three days.

Doesn't look like I'll make it this time, fellas and ladies....believe it or not ( insider info here) Lowe's has us ( the sales\ customer service folks) putting up the steel racks in the new location. So now I can add Construction Worker to my Resume !
I should be in top shape for the fall season, after climbing the 25 ft. racks and installing the steel beams.( "...son, your grandad remembers building that store...")
So anyway.....I guess you'll all have to get along without me this time..sorry.

You're Welcome. I was very disappointed to miss it. The water pump went out on the family wagon on Saturday afternoon and it seems to always end up an all day affair whenever I touch an engine.

I guess I'll keep buying my flies. Is it too early to ask when the next fly fling will be?

The fling was a great time. Sorry for those that missed it and sorry for you guys that left a little early. Birddog (Kyle) showed up a bit later and did his usual awesome display of tying and teaching talent. Thanks to everyone that showed. Special thanks to Johnathon for some materials, to FlyTyFish for the place, to NGTO for everythig, and to Kyle for the usual great stuff. Lets do this again real soon.

I was sorry to have to leave early. The wife had company comming over for dinner so I felt lucky to get to attend at all. I'm sorry I missed Birddogs tying. I did learn some new things and had a wonderfull time. Thanks to FlyTyFish, Aaron and everyone else. I'm looking forward to the next fling.
