I signed on with FairWeatherFisherman for a cabin. I'd rather bunk with one guy that owns earplugs(which he says he has)than have 13 mad at me every am over snoring. Recalling Cocoons comments about the Smokies trip:"No one could sleep within 30 feet of Aaron". Two of us singing separate tunes all night in the same house might just be toooo much. I went to Cedar Key with 8 guys and they put me in a room by myself and shut the door. Said it was a chainsaw running all night. So, my spot in the De-luxe house is open. BTW, 4 of those 14 spaces are in 2 double beds. Who's sleeping with Aaron? http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

Thanks, Aaron. I'm planning to freeze, uh, sleep in my truck. Being up on 16 inch tires provides a vibration damping effect. That way, the ground will shake less in the [un]likely event I start to snore. Wouldn't want to disturb anyone.

Only thinking of your comfort, guys. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

Beedub - don't fret about it... come out of the cold, we can room together and snore everyone out - at least until someone strangles me.

Duct Tape is a wonderful tool. I always carry 2 rolls and it has been know to cure snoring.

If that does not worry the snores, I walk in my sleep and think I am snake hunting with a stick. Don't sleep too deeply, the last guy that did is now called Susan... Got your attention now...

Of course, I do not snore... At least never heard myself...

I was considering making a pot of chili but decided it might make for a "volatile" situation with you all rooming together. Combine that with an open flame and we could lose a large portion of the board http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif. We'll make a salad or something.

Talk about waiting till the last minute. Will there still be campsite space if I come up there to join yall? Thinking about leaving Friday after work. Also, is it not really worth going unless you have a a float tube? Still new to ff and haven't shelled out the bucks for one yet.

There is plenty of camping space, camp cabins, bunkhouse, Big House-no problem. There are protected areas that can be waded, you can even walk out from the campground along a feeder creek to the river and wade the shallows and have plenty of room to cast and fish-and there are usually some large fish right off the campground banks. HO rents rafts and has a shuttle bus-come on up.
