I went down stream on the Hi and fished in the National park. I caught 5, the biggest being 15", and the smallest under 10". There was a nice hatch of some #18 or #20 Grey Adams that started around noon. I saw some risers but unfortunatly it was time for me to go.
How'd ya'll do?
I had a great time meeting everyone, enjoyed tying, and enjoyed the conversation.
Can't wait to do it again!

KB, you ole goat, you slipped off without us and found them down river. We saw maybe two rises in 5 miles on the upper section. Way to go! I'll be your shadow next time. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

If I was a trout, and you were a Phly, would you try and catch me?

Would have loved to have been there, but just couldn't spend the $$ on a lic. to fish for a few hours when the Nan was calling. Wish she would have called collect so I could have refused the charges ! I got maybe 5 stockers of no size all day. Not one was over 13 inches. Bad news on the Nan.

I think luck has got a little something to do with it. Chances are, if I had the time, I would'a been flailing Nattie with the rest of ya.
It sure is pretty water down there though. I was also lucky enough to see a Great Blue Herron, a couple of King Fishers (which had way more luck than all of us put together), and a couple of a Pileated Woodpeckers. Truely a fantastic sight.
I will certainly be back soon.
