Ok all, I am working on the next weekend trip for those who are real fisherman. It will be held Feb 12&13. This is the trip to see who the real men, or women LJ, are. Weather is not going to cancel this one. As a matter of fact, I am working on snow for the weekend. We will see.

I plan to have it on the Nantahala again, since this is close with alot of water nearby to fish. There will be a meal provided Saturday night, everyone pitch in for the cost. I am sure that I can get HoochRat to help me, you are man enough to attend arn't you Hooch?

So bring your warmest clothes, tent, and sleeping bag and come to have a good time.

Any suggestions, post away. We have plenty of time.

Grizzlyfeather pulls out his Thesaurus and types: "...This is the trip to see who the real men..."

And this is spoken by someone who sleeps in a camper with heat and all the amenities. Your not as tough as you sound big boy http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif

I'll see yer snow, and raise you some sleet and 10 degree windchill!

See you there!

Hey all, hope this does not create a problem. I just remembered that I had to be out of town the 12th &13th. So I would like to change it to the 5th & 6th of Feb. That may make it colder. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif

See you then

I’ll be in balmy Illinois that weekend for my niece’s wedding. Hope you have a good trip.

FYI to you less hardy types that still want to make the trip, but can’t see the ‘tent thing’ in February. I stayed right up the street at Nelson’s Cabins. They were clean and affordable.

If I made a trip, it'd have to be with jeffg, but I think I'll be waiting for some warmer weather for the camping thing. 'bout froze last time.

Good luck, all.

Well allow me to introduce myself since I am the whole reason this little trip was rescheduled. See Grizz forgot our anniversary and had accidentally planned a little trip for that day but I see he changed it and saved certain body parts from great harm.
I am Tam, LJ's big little sister. I am from FL, and though I have never fished in GA, I did survive the first annual Pre-Memorial Day camping trip on the Nant with Grizz and LJ. I have heard many things about some of you folks...
Just a word of advice... LJ is known to push people from boats, and Grizz accuses people of stealing his rods. Oh, and they both pass out in the rain. And don't believe a word that either of them says about me... it's not true.. unless of course, it is really good stuff.
When you guys do get together.. give them both big hugs and kisses from me. You guys have fun.

Got you covered Tam. Think I will walk the wild side this year. Grew up in New Orleans so it is not hard to do!

Can not wait to give Grizzey a big hug and a kiss... He better shave first... An I still want some of those Hot Pink dry flies. Hope Rainbow Runner is out there..

Owl, did you give up posting or did you go to work at Home Depot..

Hmmmm, ok Hooch. Thanks a bunch. Make sure it is a GOOD kiss now. Gotta get him warmed up for the 12th.

Now, onto more pressing matters. Just WHO may I ask told you about my secret hot pink and chartreuse Griffith's Gnats and other flies dry?? Someone must answer for this!
