TU Banquet

Georgia Foothills TU Chapter will host their annual fundraising banquet on Saturday, March 18th. The event will take place at the Beach House at Unicoi State Park (on the road to Anna Ruby Falls). We'll begin socializing around 5:30 PM; however, there will be casting seminars and tying seminars throughout the afternoon leading up to the banquet. As always, there will be lots of good fishing stuff to raffle or auction off. Lead item is an Orvis HLS2 7 ft. 4 wt. rod with Battenkill reel and Cortland line. Raffle tickets for this North Georgia small stream outfit are on sale now for only $10.

Admission to the banquet is $20 per person; $35 per couple, and includes dinner. As usual, all proceeds will go toward the education and conservation programs of the Foothills Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Your support is appreciated and your presence is welcomed. Hope to see you there!

Can I buy raffle tickets this year even though we probably won't be able to attend?

Yes, you may purchase raffle tickets and don't have to be present to win. We have tickets available at Unicoi Outfitters, as well as the rod outfit on hand for testing. You can stop by the shop or mail a check for $10.00 made out to Ga. Foothills TU. We'll make sure your ticket gets thrown in the pot. Make sure you include all pertinent information such as name, address, phone number so we'll know how to get in touch with you should you be the winner.
