Dear NGTO Kid Fishing Volunteers,
DON"T FORGET - KID FISHING DAY IS THIS SATURDAY APRIL 29th at Azalea Park (directions available from http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ngto/kfishing2000.html )
First of all I would like to thank you for volunteering to help us with our biggest event of the year. This will be our 2nd year participating in this event. There is nothing like seeing these kids catch fish. For many of them it is their first fishing experience and this is our opportunity to really make a difference in their life.
WE NEED BUCKETS!!!! If anyone can bring a 10 gallon bucket to the event please do - we need them to stock fish. Please reply to this email if you are going to be able to bring a bucket or two....
Below is a list of assignments as they currently stand.. Basically there are a two roles to fill here.
1. We need people to help Bill Couch at the hatchery the morning of the event to load the stocking truck.. you will need your waders if you are
helping with this part.
2. We need people to show up early at the event site (Azalea Park) to get ready, assist in the stocking of fish when they arrive, and to assist
fishermen (kids & parents) throughout the entire event. Most folks can show up at 7:00 - 8:00, but if you can get there any earlier, please do!
If the word hatchery is next to your name, please show up at the hatchery at 6:30 am, otherwise please show up at the site. If you wish to change your role, please reply to this email.
There will be refreshments and surprises for all the volunteers!
