Brookside Campground DH Fishing Trip.???

Are these trips you are setting up open to new-be's like myself? Do you have to be a NGTO Member?
I would like to meet some of you folks in the future and hope I could be included in future trips. Just a novice with minimal talent. Don't own a tube and can't afford one but I have an inflatable canoe I've never christened.....

You just have to like fishing to be welcome. It's a friendly bunch but you might have to be able to tolerate some healthy snoring which can be heard throughout the campsite.

No need for tubes on the Nantahala DH. It's too shallow. It's only tough wading if it has rained recently.

Thanks for yor responses. I have no idea where this place is so if you can let me know when and directions, I'll try to make my wife mad enough to tell me to take off for a while. See... 15 years of marriage and I learned a few tricks even though I have a Testosterone Impediment!

The town that we are in is Topton, NC. Just below Bryson City, NC and just above Franklin, NC. Not sure what part of town you are in so cant give you directions there, put once you find it on a map you can plan your best route. Hope you can make it, I do know you will have a great time.
